About the Project
Aloha, a web browser trusted by hundreds of millions globally, is committed to providing a safe and private browsing experience.
For Aloha our goal was to produce a video that would highlight the browser's features and engage industry leaders as part of our PR efforts.
References
We compiled a mood board to establish a visual style for the video and to determine the direction for character design. The Fallout game universe served as our primary reference.
Character Design
We created several design variations for the main character in our video. Observe the evolution of the character from initial sketch to final in-video appearance.
Our side characters got a makeover too, with nods to pop culture icons. They're like little Easter eggs hidden in the video.
Storyboard
We presented the video's storyline in the form of a storyboard. It includes the key plot points of the main character's journey and demonstrates how the brand is incorporated into the narrative.
Production Process
Following the illustration stage, the scenes underwent animation and additional post-production work, allowing us to fully realize the video's visual concept.
Result
We went through the entire process from scriptwriting and storyboarding to character design, animation, voice-over recording, and post-production. As a result, the video has achieved over 500K views.
